Statement of Faith

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. 

 

The church is the Body of Christ and is God’s instrument for evangelising the world.

 

There is only one true God, Creator of all things, eternally present in three persons—Creator (Father), Redeemer (Son) and Sustainer (Holy Spirit). The presence of God in three persons (Trinity) dances around creation.

 

Salvation is a gift of God. It is not achieved by good works or going to church. It is freely given by God through the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus. God is always at work reconciling us to himself. 

 

The Holy Spirit lives within us - convicting and regenerating the believer, and always witnessing to all people of the relationship shared between the Father and the Son. We are included in the Father-Son relationship through the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

Jesus’ incarnate was not the divine afterthought of God, but the eternal forward to all creation. 

 

Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

 

Every person is created in God’s image and all life is sacred.
